Apartment Association of Metro Denver

In 1968, the Colorado Apartment Association Denver Chapter was formed by a small group of local apartment owners who felt it necessary to protect their interests as small business operators. A few years later, the organization renamed itself as the Apartment Association of Metro Denver (AAMD), and established itself as a 501c6 trade association. AAMD represents over 1,200 apartment communities, 600 vender members, and over 250,000 units in the 7 county metro Denver region.
